Lost Filling

Keep as much as the filling as you can and place it in a container or ziploc. Call us to schedule an appointment and in the meantime, avoid eating in that area. Keep the area clean and consider using a sensitive toothpaste such as Sensodyne or Colgate sensitivity.

Lost Crown

Clean as much as you can inside the crown and place a smear of toothpaste or over the counter dental adhesive inside to place it back on. If you can’t put it back on, just keep it in a container or ziploc, and call us. Keep the area clean and consider using a sensitive toothpaste such as Sensodyne or Colgate sensitivity.

Broken Tooth

Try to save as much of the tooth as possible, rinse it with warm water, and place it in a safe container or ziploc. Rinse your mouth with warm water as well to stop any possible bleeding. Apply a piece of gauze or cloth over the area and apply pressure. If bleeding persists after 10 minutes, call us immediately or go to the emergency department.

Knocked Out Tooth

Call us ASAP.
Hold the crown of the tooth and keep the root intact as possible. Rinse your mouth with warm water as well to stop any possible bleeding. Apply a piece of gauze or cloth over the area and apply pressure. You can attempt to re-implant the tooth back into the socket and gently place some pressure. If it’s not possible, place the tooth into a clean container with milk or water with some salt.
